2008 Golf Tournament
Ah, the sweet smell of spring is in the air and it's time once again to join us for the 5th Annual Character & Ethics Project's Golf Tournament, Monday April 28th, 2008 at the Porter Valley Country Club. Not only is this one of the top private courses in the area, it is a beautiful and quite challenging track, so make your reservations soon as space on this course is limited.
As you know this tournament is The Project's largest annual fundraiser. This year, in particular, the Project's focus is working with local youth leagues, the City of Glendale, and local school districts to bring our Sports Accord ethics and behavior training into their sports programs. Although recognized by most as a needed program, it will require funding to initiate and sustain. Your participation in this event as a player, sponsor, or corporate sponsor, will help the Project achieve this goal.
Come join us as we have some fun in the California sun, and help create a stronger community for our families and friends! Please remember that foursomes receive a $50 per player "mulligan," and that all fire and law enforcement personnel, past and present, receive a $100 discount to play as a thank you for their service. As always, all donations to the Project are tax deductible to the full limit allowable by law.
